Anyone who are Redgage users have you been experiencing any timeouts or Error 404 returns on the website over the last few days?

I Have been having an occasional unable to log in, and returning a Error 404 when I click on my content under profile.

      Hey Kangaroo,

Recently RedGage has been having problems because of traffic increases. At least that is what I have heard.

As for someone not being able to activate a RedGage Visa card, I'm not aware of anyone else having a problem with a card. I know recently Sunforged(I think it was him) would said that he had used one without a problem.

I haven't cashed out my account, so I have no clue.

But, that error you are talking about, I have experienced and I just waited a while and then went back. I just came from logging in to my account and did not encounter any problems.

So, at this point it is hit or miss. smile

I haven't been there for ages - someone said the Visa card can only be activated by US residents, and I couldn't get any kind of confirmation from anyone so I gave up.

From what I recall, Redgage themselves will issue the card to anyone, but the site where you have to activate it only works for US residents. Or something like that.

The visa card can be activated by anyone, though I guess they charge non U.S. residents for activating.  Anamika S from hubpages has made more than $130 from redgage and If I recall her post correctly she said that she can use the card for online shopping but they do charge some money for activation.  I would try to find that exact post!!

Update: Here is the exact post

I have been having frequent 404 error messages when trying login to RedGage since I joined in mid-July. I also can't get any replies to emails sent to RedGage support. This sucks because I won a $25 RedGage Visa card that won't activate so I can spend the money. So the site doesn't work frequently, the email support is missing in action, and the RedGage Visa card doesn't work at all!

I finally got a response from RedGage after about two weeks. They did give me the activation code for the RedGage Visa card and I was able to activate it. I have not tried to use it but it appears that RedGage is not a scam but just very slow to respond to support requests by email.

Someone recommended the site to me as a possible site to add and when I’ve gone to the site at various times, click register (or however they word it) the page just refreshes with no change in content. There is a message on the main page about issues with high traffic and they it’s being worked on.

I hope you guys hear back from them soon.

I find the site extremely buggy.  I'm at the point of giving up on it.

I joined 2 weeks ago and am ready to give up on it too. It's definitely not a site I'd recommend to anyone until Redgage does some serious upgrading. There are a lot of 404 errors, even on my own profile and half the time Redgage itself won't load. The community seems really nice though and it's really a shame nothing works. If you haven't joined already, my advice would be to wait until it works. To make money, your stuff has to load and right now it's more miss than hit.

      Hi SilverGenes,
I agree.  I do have an account with Redgage and do sign in every couple of weeks but they do need to upgrade.  I understand it takes time to get many kinks out but I don't use it much because of it's super slowness.

Lol, I think we overpromoted the site and sent tons of hubbers to a site that was previously kind of a small operation.

    Sorry Redgage!

Got to agree. Really hate those error 404. Sometime, i love to see the screen hand after upload picture because once it is up, walaa~ The link is up.

Weird but I have not experience error 404 for two days now.

Yes, I am facing those problems too. I still use RG to promote my links. I had problem with the first card they send as it needed to be activated in the gift cards site if i needed the second and subsequent payouts. However, After some aggressive communication from my part they send me another card which does not need activation till you reach some $500 (I am not sure) or so. Though I am not very happy with the earnings there So far i have cashed $125 by promoting content and i think something is better than nothing at all.
