I Love the tradition of the Yankees. Ruth, Gehrig, Berra... They were something else. Would have loved to see them play.

Baseball used to be my passion-minor leagues, all of it, before the strike.  I soured on the business end of it, but it is still the most elegant game around!

Do you think that the steroids issue tarnished it a lot. Who is legit?

Good question...and should we take the thunder away from the Jose Cansecos and Mark McGuires?  It was all so vague back in the 80's and 90's.
PS: Why is this thread in the Extreme Hub Makeover?  Am I missing something? smile

I think if it was not for McGwire and Sosa hitting all those home runs, who knows what would have occurred. I think they saved baseball.

He was a great grandpa. He gave me  all of the Yankees old Memorabilia, including his blue jacket.
