Hubpages App

    I have the Hubpages app on my iPhone and I get notifications constantly that there is a comment posted on my hub yet when I open the app there is no comment to moderate. Is anyone else experiencing this? How do we get it fixed cause it's making me nuts! (see how I say, "we" 'cause we're a big loving hubbing community, right?)

      Hi SomeLikeItScott,

      OK, I've completed my investigation and here's what I found:

      It appears that the app is not checking whether a comment has already been approved before sending out the notification.  Sorry about that.

      It seems that what keeps happening is that a comment gets approved and the notification message still goes out.  I have raised the priority on this issue and it should get fixed over the next few days.  I'll post on this thread when the issue is fixed.

      In the mean time, if you like, you can temporarily turn off the comment notifications.  To do this, you will need to update your HubPages mobile app to the latest version of the app (just released today).  Once you do this, you can go to "Settings" on your 'iPhone", find the HubPages settings, and then turn off comment notifications.

      Please let me know if you find any other issues.
