I'm new to HubPages and I've just created an unpublished HubPage. I signed up for Adsense and have an affiliate code from Google but the account is still pending, not active.
My question is even though I don't have a Google affiliate account finalized yet I have Google ads showing up on my HubPage that are totally unrelated to my topic.
Any help is much appreciated.
That is standard procedure. Unrelated ads will show until your hub is indexed with google and they assign appropriate ads.
Until you've published the hub, nobody but you can see it (and that includes Google). Once it is published, google will crawl the page and the ads should become relevant fairly soon there after. If your hub is not commercial, you can turn the ads off altogether if you like.
It takes a while for Google to figure out what ad's are more appropriate for your page.
