I have just reported 5 profiles - all the same person or company, apparently - that start spammy technology threads. They have no links and sound somewhat informative, probably to avoid being reported and make it take longer for the posts to be taken down. If this continues, it would be a problem.

We seem to be having quite a lot of forum spam lately, I've been reporting it up to 5 times a day and I'm sure there's been others reporting it too. Why anyone would come to a writing site to promote their products here...

all the people I see spamming the forums are signing up long enough to post on the forum but aren't writing any hubs. So ... I was thinking. Why not require three hubs from a person before they can post in the forums?...
