One of my HubPages got massive hits (for me, anyway) and my stats show a surge in traffic from StumbleUpon. I almost had to pick myself up off of the floor.

Hey Angela, I'm not saying it was me, but I do submit hubs I like to stumble upon, and would love it if others did the same for me. Pretty cool how it affects your numbers, huh?
It might have even been a non-Hubber!
That's the beauty of producing really great, useful, unique content - the word will eventually get out, and you'll find more fans and traffic sources than you had anticipated.
Of course, there are a few things that every Hubber can do to "plant the seeds", but at the end of the day, the real traffic-driver is quality.
