I've just published these two hubs
http://hubpages.com/hub/Squinkies-Buy-S … oys-Online
http://hubpages.com/hub/Zoobles-Buy-Zoo … tat-Online
Would love a critique. While I have written at hubpages under another id, I am starting out fresh with this id. I feel like I have improved since I started out with the other id, but I know my hubs could use some help.
Thanks guys!
I just read the squinkies hub. It looks fine to me. I will never buy a squinky. But if I decided I would, this would have given me a sense of urgency to act now or be locked out in the cold. Well done.!
I red the Zoobles one. Seems like it ought to make money if those toys get popular. Good luck.
I've never heard of either one, but you've got 2 very well put together hubs.
Nice work!
On the both hubs, I see a horizontal bar of AdSense ads, a horizontal row of Amazon ads and then another horizontal row of AdSense ads. On my monitor, I don't even see any of your text, so I know that I'd be outta there quickly before reading anything you wrote. Maybe you can turn AdSense down from high to medium or low?
I would also add a little blurb like you did on the Zoobles hub about what Squinkies are, just in case someone hasn't heard of them but migrates there from your other hubs.
lrohner - yeah, I know you don't see any text. I am not sure how well this layout will convert. I have seen other hubs using it and thought that this one might be a good one to try it on. Simply because I think that most people who will be searching for these products will be looking to buy them, not so much read about them.
I added the Squinkies blurb to the Zoobles hub. Thanks for the heads up
I wonder if anyone has any experience using a layout like this with the 2 amazon modules at the top?
DB Cooper - thanks for the feedback!
Shadesbreath - awesome, that is what I'm working for
Steveomc - good to hear
My only complaint was the same as Irohners - too many ads at the top.
I thought it really well written, though - you did a good job of advertising.

We are getting close to putting out a new ad layout that should improve earnings for authors, while creating more separation of ads from the content. For authors, the most significant change is there will be a 728X90 above the title and the 468X60 (under the title) will be removed along with one...

I have noticed that the three Google ads that appear at the bottom of each hub look very much as though they are part of the hub itself. I am wondering whether this could be a reason why some HP members have had their Adsense account disabled, because if you put a link of your own at the bottom of...

I noticed last week that traffic to my hubs surge, and i was very happy but surprisingly things started changing about two days ago when i saw declined in my daily page views. More so, most of my hubs on google first page are now on page two. Can someone tell me what's the problem with GOOGLE?

Where have the ads gone from my hubs? Is it just me or is this another site wide issue?I checked a few of my hubs and found that the prime ad location (top right) was bereft of any ads? Any suggestions as to why this is happening would be welcome. Have you experienced something similar. Considering...

Ok, here goes. I rarely get involved in the forums, I guess I am a little on the shy side. I have been here almost 2 years now and have published over 80 hubs. I have only had 2 ever unfeatured and have deleted those and a couple more that I thought just were not up to par. My...
