What's the most amazing experience you've ever had?

      Hi Prettydarkhorse,

That's got to be an amazing feeling and one which I hope to experience soon with my wife. Talking about birth - I just posted a poem about our journey into this world. The biggest responsibility we can have is raising children.

When I saw the number 350 bus, it had a serial number on it that was a number I hadn't seen before....only joking!

I guess it was the time when I first saw a Jedi for real!

Yeah it was on the big screen, so they must have caught all the adventures of the empire and all that Darth Vader vs Luke Skywalker stuff all on camera, what luck!!!!

I can remember watching Star Wars when it came out for the first time. It was great seeing it on the big screen. I didn't like it when I saw Obi-Wan get struck down by Darth Vader. I was gutted as I wanted all the good guys to escape unharmed!

The first time I held a beating human heart in my hands. Literarily!

That's really amazing. The closest I've been is observing open-heart surgery and being allowed to re-start the heart before they closed up the chest.

I was in a car accident while 7 months pregnant with my first born daughter, I lost a lot of blood and my heart stopped before they could get me to surgery, I was in a warm place where I felt no more pain and was at peace, all the stress of the wreck left me and the I heard my baby cry and decided I should go find this baby as I knew she needed me.

To this day she's the most amazing person I've ever known next to my second born daughter, their amazing.

That's a truly amazing story.  Prettydarkhorse shares the same sentiments about children. I love teaching children although it can be hard work sometimes. I also hope to experience seeing my first child one day. Talking about birth I just posted a hub about the journey into this life. I don't know where it came from but today I was thinking about life and wrote a poem about our arrival into this world.
