I'm finally using Amazon more. However I noticed my stats today are the same as yesterday. Do they only update those once a day or something?
They update once a day, around 8 am, pacific time.
However, lately they have been a bit erratic in their update times. I try not to check until noon, so that I am not looking at it all day.
I have yet to identify a clear pattern, but it seems like it is either once or twice a day. I have noticed that my stats usually don't change until mid morning local time but on occasion seem to change again later in the evening. I usually only check them once a day or so anyway which is why I don't know exactly when any change occurs.
It is definitely only once a day - usually 10 minutes ago. Look at the bit that says 'Last updated' - right now mine says 15th September, and even though today is the 17th, when that ticks over to the 16th, then todays update is done.
I see, thanks everyone. I'm use to real time stats like adsense, guess I can't be checking it all day then!
Whoo, yup just checked and it's changed, 68 clicks as opposed to the normal 3 a day. Guess I'm doing something right.
Ok that is about 10pm, Australian Eastern Standard Time
Wow, big time difference, that's around 8:00 AM here, still waking up!
Heya Bill,
Australia is about 13 hours ahead of the US West Coast and 16 hours ahead of the US East coast. Changes to 14-17 hours when Australia hits daylight savings on 2nd Oct this year.

My stats update once a day usually about 8 am EST but sometimes later.
Mine update at roughly 9:00am EST, and then once again in the late afternoon, although I'm not sure that happens every day.
Im pretty sure mine update between 9:00 am EST and 10am est - usually closer to 10 and only once per day
There has been fluctuations in update times this past month
The weird thing is, SF, even though I check Amazon in the morning, there have been quite a few times when I've checked back in the afternoon and shipments have updated. I don't really remember if my clicks/sales updated, but the shipments certainly did.
good to know , kinda, im trying to wean myself off of checking stats
it was better when I thought I only needed to peek once
Yeah I check my adsense every 30 minutes all day! Got to stop that somehow!
I don't need to check my AdSense - its always about £2 a pay, so it does not generate that much enthusiasm from me.
But at 12.55pm I am a serious nutter, dragging my son back from pre-school as quick as his little legs will carry him, so I can log in and get my Amazon stats.
No-one in the real world understands that I do work, and this is what I do, so I get no praise / recognition / respect (all the stuff I used to get when I had a 'proper' job) - but every day Amazon rewards me with numbers - which I think is a good excuse for my stats checking addiction.

I have over four dozen different sponsors and places I make money from online. That is my whole income. If I was practical I would check all my stats in them once in the morning and once at night to see what I have made for the day.But I find I can't help myself and check them dozens of times a...

Today we will reduce the number of search driven products that can be displayed to one in the eBay and Amazon capsules. See last week's announcement. Also, when a product capsule is aligned to the right and it has a single product listing, the product picture will now be enlarged. You...

No update on the stats in 32 hours. Yesterday my Hubber Profile score dropped a point and when I signed in this morning it had dropped another point. My hub score has rapidly dropped 2 points. Is there a connection between the stats not updating and my Hubber score? Seems like a pretty rapid...

Does the Amazon number of clicks change throughout the day? Not the orders, but the clicks. I thought they did, but mine hasn't moved all day. Thanks!
