it may actually be a mouseover (that was triggered when i anadvertently moved the cursor over it, like a virtual land mine!) - but its still a crappy form of advertising.
i hope this isnt an allowed ad platform at HP and is just an ad that slipped in!
how about some advertising standards!
I actually reported an ad similar to that recently and was sent a link on how to opt out of htese advertisements, I think my concern was mis-interpreted though as I don't really care personally, just don't want my visitors hit by this kind of stuff!
I just got hit with the same Meyers ad. After closing the popup, there was another Meyers ad at the top of the hub with a video playing. Also got the pop up this morning.
You're lucky. The minute I publish any hubs they seem inundated with dirty young girls in tight T shirts and adverts that verge on filth.
I'm then too embarrassed to promote them until adsense works out what my page is about!
