I am finding myself with considerable amounts of free time - time I could be using to write more quality, passive traffic, revenue generating, hubs. Problem is, I don't know what to write about! So, I need help from you, the hubpages community. I'm going to list what I know/am interested in writing, and you guys give me some idea on what you want to see written in those areas!
I'll return the favor if I write about your idea.
And thanks to everyone who helps me out.
Here are the areas I am knowledgeable in and am willing to write about:
health and nutrition
computer arts (animation, graphic design, web coding, web design, etc.)
- Robotics, both in industry and logistics and for home use
- Computing evolution, including faster processors / cloud computing / artificial intelligence
- Space exploration (overlap with robotics)
- Satellites, their current importance for communications and broadcasting; problems associated with their use such as pollution of Space.
Above are suited for one or more series of hubs, which should be interlinked. May include product reviews as well as summary of research done in the field. May also include policy initiatives, which are publicly available for research.
OK, give us 800-1000 words on health and nutrition in cold winter weather with emphasis on mobility for the less agile and maintaining a healthy intake of food.
I'll keep technology :-)
No thoughts on the last two, just start writing and see where it takes you.
I see you have got some suggestions already on your preferred topics still you can also visit hubpages Ideabank for ideas on various topics.
I suggested in the forum last night something that came to mind when someone posted a thread asking about the Questions section and if anyone answered them thus giving people free ideas for hubs ad was wondering if it was right that people used others for ideas.
After thinking for a moment I replied that if you think about it scanning through the questions and answers can be a great spot to find ideas to use before the other people do by clicking on the make a hub about it now tab.
Granted the vast majority of the questions are pointless and some are just meant to be fun,but with correlating what you see on there with some keyword research you may just find a winner to jump on before someone else gets the chance!

A few days ago I reposted a comment that another hubber had taken from Google. The comment stated that if you wrote about what you know, your reputation would improve. In fact, if you were writing about issue relating...

I'm curious if anyone actually makes money on their hubs. How long did it take for you to make some? Is it a good side income?

HP has always said do evergreen hubs. Politics is certainly not evergreen. it has a short "shelf-life" if it is about a current event. And since I would mostly write about U.S. politics, they might have...

I like to check Hubpages on breaks at work. Now, I can't access my Hub feed because a Hubber chose to write a Hub about drugs, and Hubpages hasn't caught onto it yet. My organization is pretty fair on what it...
