There are two children and two parents on an island with one boat. This boat can only hold only 150 pounds. The mother weights 100 pounds, father 100 pounds, and the children weight 50 pounds each. This boat can be used to cross to the mainland which isn't very far from the island but the river separating them is infested with piranhas so our family cannot swim across. How many trips are needed from the island to the mainland for everyone to get across to the mainland safely (1 trip is from the island to mainland. Going back to the island is another trip).

I will post the correct answer SOON until then try your best!

      2 kids over = 100
      1 kid back = 50
      1 kid + 1 parent over = 150
      1 kid back = 50
      1 kid + 1 parent over = 150

      All over safel

      5 trips.
