Our fellow hubber jimmythejock is in search of a abducted child. I recently published a site http://hubpages.com/hub/Search_Of_A_Kid to make his search easier. I would like to know views of other fellow hubbers. Please share your views.
I post this question to jimmythejock. Do you want me to unpublish this site?
From the hub: If anyone find this child please contact jimmythejock through hubpages.
I'm not sure if you're aware of the seriousness of the situation.
If anyone finds the child they should contact the local authorities, ie: the police.
Thanks for the suggestion darkside. I will make necessary changes.
I unpublish the site and make corrections which are required.
Hii again, I already made changes. needs valuable advice of hubbers.
I once again thanks darkside for the suggestion.
I'm sure you're doing it for all the right reasons but without indepth knowledge of the matter at hand it will only clutter the internet with more confusion.
You see it's not "Search Of A Kid" it would be "Search For A Kid". In fact I'd be more inclined to have titled it "Search For A Child" or "Search For A Missing Child".
But I'm not saying that so you can retitle your hubpages. I think it would be best left unpublished and even deleted.
A half hearted attempt... or as the case may be, having your heart in the right place but mishandling the information, doesn't help the situation.
It's best to use your time publishing and promoting Hubs on topics in which you are familiar. Things that you are passionate about.

I have unpublished a hub. Does anyone know if it gets removed from search engines now? I would like to publish most of it somewhere else. Should I wait a week before doing that so I don't get "duplicate content" penalties?

Are we allowed to republish our articles elsewhere and keep the original hubs here in the mean time?

I just posted a bit ago a request for help on a hub that has been flagged over promotional. I just realized nobody can see the hub in question since the hubpages staff said to unpublish. How do you get someone with experience to look it over and help with it if they can't see it? It has been...

Everything after the first post on my travel articles is flagged as duplicate. I have the same structure on each one and since they're travel posts primarily in the UK they will have a lot of the same words. Please evaluate and let me know how to fix this without destroying the series.Thank you.

I wondered if some of the problem lenses that are not yet updated for Hubpages might be better off unpublished? What are the consequences to scores and traffic when we unpublish something?

Hello,I was wondering if there is a way to unpublish all of my Hubs at once, or deactivating my account. I have been on HubPages for years, but I no longer find it as rewarding or enjoyable as I used to. At the same time, I don't want to close my account because I'm proud of all of the work I've...
