Now I can't get a new hub going, I can't get past the first page.

Kind of a shot in the dark, but do you have JavaScript turned off?

I turn it off sometimes when checking a different site I have so I don't give myself page impressions (I know it doesn't do anything dreadful, but it makes my stats inaccurate - lol - I don't get that many hits).  Sometimes I forget to turn it back on when I'm done and Hubpages (and other sites) don't work correctly.

Well think of it this way UW.... At least your page is open and no one is pointing and laughing or yelling at you! big_smile

Having Writer's Block, eh? I take notes in my notebook that I want to write my hub on and I jot down my ideas as soon as I get them.

Like literally can't get past the first page? Or you are having trouble brainstorming ideas ??

No, it's technical. I keep getting a notification to update Java so maybe that is it. But it works on other sites.

Can you tell me what the notification says exactly? Most likely you are talking about the new message that we are showing to people who are using Firefox 2. If that's the case, please upgrade to Firefox 3 (which you can do by following the link provided).

Larry and I have been able to create new Hubs in Firefox on Windows, Mac, and Ubuntu, so it sounds like you are most likely using a quite old version of Firefox.

        Okay, things are working again.

I was using 3.6.11 and just upgraded to 3.6.12. Must have been some sort of glitch with my last upgrade.

Thanks for looking into this smile

I just got a notice that I probably couldn't publish my new hub without first updating my browser. I didn't and it worked anyway. ???? Good luck UW

Things seem okay from work, I'll have to try again when I get home tonight.

Nope, for some reason HubPages has stopped working in my Firefox.

I am having some issues, too. My new hub seemed to vanish after I published (really - vanished). It's still there, but new hubs don't show up on my profile page.

I have dumped cache, updated browsers (both Firefox and Chrome) updated Java - still no go.

Please, let em know if anything works for you.

Love the new avatar, btw big_smilebig_smilebig_smile
