It was nice and nippy down here for the Winter Solstice. The moon was bright and full during the night, and for that reason alone, it didn't feel like the shortest day of the year. :-)

The solstices are time of equal day and night, Hovalis. tongue  The equinoces are times of shortest/longest day/night.

You seem to have your facts reversed, gamergirl....  Here in North America, we just had the Summer Solstice, aka the longest day of daylight of the year.  Hovalis is clearly in the Southern Hemisphere, where they just started official winter.

    *facepalm* Forgive my pre-caffeine post.

Spank me, I'm a bad pagan before noon on the weekends.

*G* No problem. Pre-caffeine posts do that to me, too. I'm south of the equator, yes, and slightly jealous of those in the northern hemisphere right now. *turns up the heater* smile

I would trade my weather with you right now if I could! This heat makes my hair all frizzy.  big_smile
