I have opportunities to refer to some of my hubs here from my other web sites. I wonder whether or not it would be treated as external links by SE if I add my url tracker? Adding the tracker would potentially bring me referrals, but I have to think it twice in certain cases if that spoils the other purpose, or adding the tracker gives me both benefits?
I'd say add the tracker.
According to Paul Deeds, the tracker does not impact on the SEO quality of links.
And you could get some nicely earning referrals as well!
That would be so nice! I was struggling for a while on this - adding or not, added, then took away, then blah...gee, so hard, why didn't I ask the question earlier? Glad I did today. Thanks for the info!
Thanks WryLilt I thought it did and for that reason I wasnt doing that. Will be doing that from now on

Like referrals.1. Why insert an _referralcode into the URL. Couldn't you come up with a dynamic insertion solution? If an insertion was required, what's wrong with appending it at the end of the URL as in ?referrer=xyz?...
