Messages from a hubber that I don't understand

English isn't my native language. Got couple of messages from a hubber but never understood what these all meant. Asked him what he was talking about but got no response. So I figured it may not hurt to ask people here who speak English.

    Msg 1:
Don't know what you believe about destiny and fate, But when I saw your eyes, YOU SCARE THE you know what out of me. From what I read of your profile, (I didn't read much) This is not a sex thing. Fates and destinies can be woven together without a sexual factor. I know these things. Curious? If you aren't, then you won't email me back. I'll never email you again. You have my word. I know about things like that, too. Peace and Love.

    Msg 2:
I can help you on your path. T...(not sure if that is his or someone else' id so I skipped here)/...(his hubber ID). I am on a vision quest, given to me by my medicine dream. You are part of that. Still applies what I said in the first email. I left there, and went back to your profile, read and had to add to what I already said. I may be the key to unlock a door for you.

I wonder what kind of "door" he wanted to unlock for me? All so strange.

It's unsolicited comments like this which sum up why I would strongly recommend having an animal (or whatever) as your avatar rather than your own pic.

But someone could still be mesmerized by my lovely monkey eyes!  smile

I never would've expected the pic could create hassles. I actually already changed my photo. I'd leave it as is and see if this black and white one would scare anyone else, haha

I would suggest you disregard both messages and not respond to either of them.

It doesn't even sound like the person is with it(the right frame of mind), much less anything else.

Just my thoughts on it. smile

Thank you, Cagsil. I actually did feel the same. I felt the person either got a screw loose or had serious mental problems. But his "peace and love" confused me, afraid of misunderstanding a good meaning, that's why wanted to double check. Guess the sense I have for English isn't too bad smile

Sounds to me like someone that could have something to offer above material things. Find out what he/she wants. Evidently, from the wording of it, this "opportunity" is only intending to knock once. Opportunity usually does. Find out what he/she is talking about. Don't like it. Block it.

Snakebaby, on your profile, did you mention your ambitions? Maybe that is the door that can be opened.

Well, I did have ambitions, even just few years ago, I was dreaming about getting famous in entertainment area (even at my age). But I have different view of this so my ambition now would be making more money by writing hubs, haha. Anyway, I don't think I specifically/clearly put down anything that can be called "ambition". So it's confusing still, unless this person hint about getting successful on internet marketing, but then that was an abnormal way to bring my attention. I don't believe opportunities knock my door this way. But thanks for your opinion.

When you get mail like that through your hubber profile I would use the link at the bottom of the email and flag it as abuse of the system.

This sounds more like a straightforward way, I'd think about doing it smile

I'd flag that as abuse too.

Your (possibly accidental) right parentheses makes the smiley look so cute, looks like a braid of hair, hehe, I'd implement it on purpose in the future big_smile

Thanks everyone. I reported both messages as abuse last night. An interesting and funny thing to share with you: The person who sent me the messages is one of the hubbers replied here yesterday pretending he had nothing to do with it (I replied pretending I didn't know it was him). Isn't it even stranger?

Well that sure narrows it down....unless they have deleted their comments.

Umm, but there are only three or four possibilities and that would seem out of character for any of them.

          Are you sure?

snakebabyposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Yes, I'm sure, positively absolutely sure, unless his account was hacked by someone else, which I really doubt was the case. Removing his two comments here would tell the world he is the one immediately, so better let them stay I guess. Can you or anyone interpret this from his messages: Tanaka/Druid Dude? It's not his ID, realized it later.

Anyway, thanks for everyone's trying to help. Figured I'd better just stop here, since I sure do not want stir up unexpected guessing, and it is not fair to be suspected when you didn't do anything. Would like to point out though, regular folks who are constantly helping and active in this entire forum is not "the one"
