Well I honestly don't know what your talking about when you say this is part of your plan to move forward, nor do I believe you'd probably tell me if I asked you. However, whatever your plan is, I will wish you the best of luck.
It's a shame we had our differences in the past, as I would've liked to have become friends with you, but it seems we always ended up getting on each other's nerves more so than anything. Oh well. What can you do? I'll miss arguing with you Cags, and wish you the best of luck in whatever endeavors you have planned.
This thread is part of the plan to reach 30,000 posts. Or did I not make that clear in my OP? If not, then I apologize for not being clearer.
As for my future plans? Well, "CAGSIL" is a business that I need to take to the next level. Simply said, but not simply done. And there would be a reason for that and if I've not made that clear before now, which I'm pretty sure I have, then I guess I'll chalk it up the experience and knowledge I've gained, without knowing what you've managed to learn? Oh well, cannot win them all. I doubt you'll miss the arguing, because no one truly ever misses arguing, unless it was with someone extremely close to them, which we are not.
Cagsil, who asked you to explain anything to me? I know I didn't. If you think I did or implied it, then I'm sorry I didn't make that clearer then. Plus, I don't even know which particular incident your referring to, as we have had a lot of debates and quarrels if I recall correctly. Many of them over different subject matters. Look, Cags, I don't know why you think I was posting on your forum originally, but I was just trying to wish you well, AND despite our previous differences, I always respected you. That's all. There's no need for petty insults and insinuations, buddy. Sheesh.
Cagsil, a word of advice. The next time a person says, in spite of our differences in the past, i'd like to wish you well, then just say thank you. No, need for insults or to get mad. Trust me, Cags, if I wanted to insult you, then I'd insult you okay. Anyways, I hope "Cagsil", as in your company, does well in business. Happy Thanksgiving, pal.
Edit: You should consider writing a hub about your forum experiences Cagsil, to commemorate your departure. I'm sure it would get a lot of hits.
hello friend... I dont hang out around here these days...(Forums) but I figured I would lend a post to you...although I am not too sure you should go---u do give lots of helpful advice to Hubbers new to Hub Pages- what ever shall happen to those types if there is no Cagsil to guide them?
well, I for one, do not even believe it. You will find a way to stay and torture the religionists and the other illiterates. I know you will. Since you've said yu're going, though, we will torture you if you stay now! oh, what a pickle! still it would be really weird not to have you around! I gave up trying to convince anyone to stay when they say they have to go. If ya gotta go, ya gotta go.
Not me guy. Kinda got the feeling some don't appreciate me either. Sometimes truth hurts, you and I represent two different versions of the same truth. I value your presence. Don't let my manner fool ya' You are almost to the Grail. You just need a little push of faith.
Hey, yo, I'm one a them thar god thinkers. I wouldn't be w/o cag. I needle him a bit, but this all smacks of censorship. Way un-american. WAY. You want PC, fine, but if I think that freedom of thought is being infringed by this very medium that was intended for the free exchange of info, I WILL SHUT MINE OFF AND THROW IT IN THE GARBAGE!
Thank you Lisa. And, you would be correct, no one actually has to get it, but accept it. Acceptance is something most people have trouble with.
Well, the reason for the title was due to the "religious" run-ins and I pretty much expected them to post as much as possible, so as to get my post count up. No Lisa it was not. I've still have plenty of posts to go before that total is reached. Thank you very much.
I was always under the impression that it wasn't altogether important to you what others thought about your opinions or what you did, I sorry to hear somebody got to you in that way. Buck up and stick around, it was you who convinced me to stay in my beginnings. You are unique and sometimes that scares the un-unique around. I think you should not go.....
This was a tricky thread, because of the wording of it, "Who wants to run me out....". On the one hand, who would want to answer and be among those contributing to Cagsil's 30,000. On the other, who would want to think Cagsil (who so often tries/tried to be helpful to others on here) was leaving without wishing good luck?
Cagsil, hope you just went to sleep out there in Western Massachusetts, and that mine wasn't the post that made your 30,000 and caused "poof"!! That's what I'm hoping anyway. What a dilemma you posed for people on here! Maybe if you're back tomorrow, working on your 30,000, you could post a new thread, like, "Who wants to say something to me, since my aim of 30,000 posts is only xx posts away"? For the record, I sure hope my reply to your thread was not Number 30,000.
Ah Cagsil, I will be sorry to see the back of you here on the forums (kinda feels like a loss for the team ya know). You know you will probably miss my silly, irreverent, flippant, staunch refusal to take anything to seriously in these here forums. So in that vein I will do what I always do when avoiding anything seriously and I shall taunt you for leaving instead. Your father was a hamster and your mother smelt of elderberries, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!
Be sorry to not see you around in the forums anymore Cagsil, but only you know where your path is leading you and how you want to spend your time in the future. Truth is, we would all have a lot more hubs/work/sunshine hours under our belts if we didn't hang around the forums so much.
You also know that you can always come back, and no doubt join in with 'how do I get traffic to my hubs', 'when will the world end', 'Jesus said it was sinful to wear red', 'if I run around the block 14 times will my hubber score go up' or 'backlinks are inherently evil'. Some things don't change!
In an outside forum, more than once it was stated that when you and I spent about 6 months just playing in the forums, we wrecked it for everyone, making a joke of them Bet we put 20+ posts during that time. Not to mention blowing lots of steam off, so sorry to all. OK, no I am not, it was too fun!
Yo, if you are at a point to begin executing the beginnings of your dream, then I am not sad, rather thrilled. Whatever or wherever your path leads next, may it be what has been so long in planning, hard work and developing. I am incredibly excited for you, and I am not about to go away.
I'll always know where to get you! And I will. If you are not going to be on site, please leave your account up,
And thank me later for contributing thousands of those soon to be 30,000 faces
hey - just caught on to this - there is a big difference between being "run out of the forums" and choosing to leave after 30,000 posts - I think the title is to get our attention, which it did, but nobody is running Cagsil out - that's for sure, if they even tried about 400 of us would jump on them like ducks on a bug!
Well I've enjoyed your participation in these forums Cags, and I'll miss your witty replies. You've been a help to me in the past and I thank you for that.
But...WHAT are these more pressing things to do? What will take you outside to do it? I'm curious.
The future will not have any time for playing? Then why do it? Playing is a necessary part of life. All work and no play makes for a cranky Cagsill.... I hope you find happiness and something to play with, no matter where your journey takes you. Good luck!
Sandy, it was my pleasure to help and you're welcome. Yes, it will take me outside from time to time. The pressing thing to do? Are related to "CAGSIL" my business, which I want to finalize and set in full throttle motion forward, as I've already started with writing all of my hubs, but isn't enough. Less play time, but that won't make for a cranky Cagsil, but a more happier being. It's more about other things and other people, than it is about me. Thank you very much for your kind words.
I haven't ever heard of "climate gloves". Sorry, cannot help on that topic. I have faith in you and I don't think any single person could floor you, literally, with words. The zealots will do what they want regardless of whether or not I am here. At least, you can not respond to their blatant attacks while here. As for those who come to your home...I would say that hiding behind the sofa is a good place to be.
