If an eight-ounce glass contains four ounces of water, optimists are said to see that glass as "half full". Pessimists are said to see it as "half empty". We've all heard this many times in our lives.
What we don't hear much about are those people who have an eight-ounce glass that contains seven and three-quarters ounces, who don't see all that water and those who dump it out - and then continue to talk about how they have an empty glass. The morals to all of this is: If your eight-ounce glass has close to eight ounces of water in it, first open your eyes. If you still can't see it, get your vision checked. Think a long time before dumping out the contents of that glass, but if you decide to waste that water then don't complain when you find yourself with a completely empty glass.
