What are the advantages of applying a border to the images of a hub?
It gives a more rounded, finished touch, essentially putting a frame around the pictures.
I believe the to do or not to do depends on the subject..if you want your text to wrap around the picture and want the picture to blend in with the subject don't opt for the frame.
I some times love the text wrapping around the picture blending one into the other, but sometimes the picture can just remain framed like one, adding color and interest to the text.
That is how I look at it before i take a call....
It makes it look more like a snapshot, which is a plus for some photos, but it doesn't always work. If the photo has a lot of white space around it, a border just looks wrong, whereas without the border it seems to float above the page.
Rely on your own taste and judgement. There's no right or wrong.
i don't generally border my photos..I like them to blend into the article..

Has anyone else noticed that the text on some Hubs has huge gaps to allow for images and ads? It is not just on my own Hubs but others I have read as well. Was there a formatting change I missed?

I've done this on a few hubs. Maybe it's a good idea because if someone does an image search, the photo with text relevant to the content of the hub can stand out amongst the competition. What do you think?

I know I've seen this elsewhere online, where you can't actually copy text or images. You can view pictures but not download them or even embed them. Would it be possible to do this at all? At least it would cut down on...

I think I've seen this asked and answered before but I might be a little thick? I've attempted to add an image into a capsule and place it between paragraphs but it comes out huge rather than a thin border.

Lately as I hubhop, I am finding lots of photo only hubs. Are these considered low quality? It would seem that hubs need to have text of some kind besides a title. I started out flagging them as low quality, but I don't...
