I've printed out the instruction pages & after several tries...no luck. Frustrated!
You do not - cannot - paste ad code (HTML) into HubPages. Instead, you should insert your affiliate ID in the control panel, affiliate settings.
Inserting ad code (HTML) is only relevant for webmasters and such.
You cannot post HTML code on your hub. You have to use the capsules. For Adsense you only have to input your id in your affiliate settings.
