I was hoping some of the Hubbers with an expertise in product reviews might give this one a look and let me know if I am on the right track or what could be improved.

Bro, it looks pretty darn good to me.
The only thing that I would look at would be the newsfeeds at the end. The point of doing a product review is to get the reader to buy the product, not to run off and read all about what Natalie Portman is doing with her shoes.
If I was really all that much into shoes, I might even give them a try. Looks good..
News feeds are really good for keeping your content fresh and I use them a lot, but I always put mine under the comments capsule. By then most people will have clicked an ad or gone over to amazon and it won't distract them from the important thing - buying!
