I want to generate more traffic to my hubs. I've read you can post url's to spread the word, need to know where I can do this?
There is a share button at the bottom of your finished hub and that gives the option of posting on Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Reddit etc
But there are countless other bookmarking sites like Seekyt, Spotback, Delicious, Onlywire and also article posting websites that you write another article with a link included: Xomba, Shetoldme, Snipsly, Squidstop and Bestreviewer are the ones off the top of my head.
Have a read here.

I've listed all the bookmarking sites I use - I don't tend to use Digg or Reddit - I find they are too quick to ban members and don't want to get into trouble so just stay away.
Yeah I'm not sure about Reddit, Ive received snooty comments on there but Digg Ive had no probs with.
I've actually been banned by both reddit and digg in the past. I just made a new username and email address to get accepted back on, but now I hardly ever post a link there. If I do, I spend some time reading and commenting on others but its too time consuming to keep up with.
I had the same experience with reddit, in the beginning when I was clueless and they just make you feel worst.
Thank you for your help I'll check it out
If you are wanting traffic that clicks then you are better off putting your url into anchor text, as this is how google knows what keywords your site is targeting, if you do not know what anchor text is there are many hubs explaining how to use them.
I would reccomend reading this one as this is what helped me:

After you have learned what is and how to use anchor texts you can start posting on blog sites, article submission sites and a lot more.

Does posting your hubs on social bookmarking sites like Reddit really help your hub traffic?Just wondering if it's worth the time to repost my hubs on sites like this. Please provide numerical figures for reference if you have them.

I've been posting links to my articles on various social bookmarking sites. Then I posted an...article last night and didn't submit it to any other sites. It has gotten more views from outside hubpages (including google) than any other article. Why is that?

I've been using a variety of social bookmarking sites to increase traffic and for the do-follow links, due to a great hub by Ryankett, thanks Ryan!! Recently though, on a few sites like Kirsty or Wagg, even after several months, my bookmarks are all marked as "submitted", but none of them...

Just now I noticed that my 'the best way to take care of a rejected lamb' hub got 183 hits today of which 73 came from reddit.com. I've never been on that website so how come that I get so many hits from there all of a sudden. Did someone leave a link there to my hub or something?

I just submitted my second article. I've waited a couple of days but still haven't even receive 50 views yet. I'm concerned about it. I have been reading other peoples articles to see how they receive so many views and fans. But I dont fully understand RSS Feeds, social bookmarking sites and social...

I just wanted to share that my hub on the 2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 hub is ranked on the FIRST page of google 3 times (the top 3 listings too!)- one under my Mixx posting, one under my Digg, and one under my hub posting. The way that I got all 3 up there was to write a different introduction for...
