I'm sure by now you guys are tired of praying for and/or sending good thoughts for my family and me. Remember Brooklynn, my 7-month-old granddaughter who's had so many health issues? She's in the hospital again, with influenza type A. This is the most dangerous kind of flu and the one that's been responsible for so many deaths and epidemics. If you could find it in your heart to send up some more prayers, I sure would appreciate it! If you're not a praying person, send Brooklynn some good thoughts. Many thanks!
I'm sorry to hear this!
You must be worried sick!
Will hope and pray for her full recovery.
Mat 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Consider it done. Prophesy healing over your granddaughter.
Oh that's a tough one Habee. I wrote her name at the top of my yellow pad.
Can't believe she's 7 months already! I'm sure she's a strong cookie underneath with a gramma like you. She'll be okay.
Sure, I will send my prayers! I am never tired of it, as I have needed prayers for my family and people have done for me! I hope, wish and pray for your granddaughter to get well! Best wishes *hugs*
Done! Good luck to you and you're family. You and yours will be in my prayers
Consider it done, habee. Prayers, good thoughts, love, and hugs are coming your way for Brooklynn and for all of you.
Thanks, guys. When I went to see her last night, she was doing better, and her fever is down some. I just called Melissa (my daughter), and Brooklynn still has terrible diarrhea, however. Of course, she's getting IV fluids, so I'm hoping they won't send her home until that clears up.
it is good she is better now, habee. Precious baby. Prayers for Brooklyn.
Adding my prayers in agreement with all the rest. I have never had flu - immune somehow - so I am sending thoughts of immunity and healing from all flu, as well as prayers.
I am sending you my prayers for Brooklynn and i come into agreement with you for her healing and speedy recovery, God bless and best wishes.
Habee my prayers and good thoughts are coming to you through the airwaves. A speedy recovery for the little munchkin and strength and best wishes to all of you grown ups.
See this pic in the avatar? That's Brooklynn in the hospital. She's saying, "I wanna go home!" She's being released this evening!
Anyone in the healthcare field here? I'm confused. Brooklynn had the flu shot for A, B, and H1N1, but she still got influenza A. How? She's had a speedy recovery, however. Is that maybe because the vaccine gave her SOME immunity?? Thanks!
Funny things those vaccines. What I've learned of them is that for some people, it will not stop them from getting the illness, but make it less severe. It all depends on their immune system on whether or not it provides complete or partial immunity. I'm happy to hear she's getting better!
