I'm sure by now you guys are tired of praying for and/or sending good thoughts for my family and me. Remember Brooklynn, my 7-month-old granddaughter who's had so many health issues? She's in the hospital again, with influenza type A. This is the most dangerous kind of flu and the one that's been responsible for so many deaths and epidemics. If you could find it in your heart to send up some more prayers, I sure would appreciate it! If you're not a praying person, send Brooklynn some good thoughts. Many thanks!

Mat 10:1  And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Consider it done.  Prophesy healing over your granddaughter.

Oh that's a tough one Habee. I wrote her name at the top of my yellow pad.

Can't believe she's 7 months already! I'm sure she's a strong cookie underneath with a gramma like you. She'll be okay.

Thanks, guys. When I went to see her last night, she was doing better, and her fever is down some. I just called Melissa (my daughter), and Brooklynn still has terrible diarrhea, however. Of course, she's getting IV fluids, so I'm hoping they won't send her home until that clears up.

Adding my prayers in agreement with all the rest. I have never had flu - immune somehow - so I am sending thoughts of immunity and healing from all flu, as well as prayers.

See this pic in the avatar? That's Brooklynn in the hospital. She's saying, "I wanna go home!" She's being released this evening!

Anyone in the healthcare field here? I'm confused. Brooklynn had the flu shot for A, B, and H1N1, but she still got influenza A. How? She's had a speedy recovery, however. Is that maybe because the vaccine gave her SOME immunity?? Thanks!

Funny things those vaccines. What I've learned of them is that for some people, it will not stop them from getting the illness, but make it less severe. It all depends on their immune system on whether or not it provides complete or partial immunity. I'm happy to hear she's getting better!
