Have any book or E-Book authors out there used Smashwords to sell and/or market your books?
What are your opinions?
It s a place to uplaod and sell ebooks, and they deliver to other vendors like Amazon.
As stated above it proclaims to be a web based clearinghouse to sell E-books either directly or through multiple publishing outlets like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, ect. to a worldwide marketplace of Kindle, Sony and other Electronic Reader users that consume electronic publishing.
I am considering putting up one of my novels. Though I have had some success with literary agents and publishing houses the duration of time from manuscript to money and the splits is questionable. So I am considering direct marketing and I am searching for the best vehicle. This one appears to be pretty good, but I would like to hear opinions from others like me, or those that have used this service or others that may be better.
