I have just published my first hub- any comments would be appreciated. I realise I have a lot to learn, but any comments or help would be appreciated
It's called Edinburgh Vacation in winter.
I'm not sure if I'm even allowed to ask this question!
Hi there, and welcome to HubPages! Whether you're new or experienced here, you can always go to the Extreme Hub Makeover and ask for critiques on any of your hubs, and you can post a link there to the hub.
Your hub looks good to me, save for a couple of minor things. See that pic you have of Edinburgh Royal Mile I think it is? And it has the block of AdSense ads underneath it? Move that photo down further into the hub. You want that block of ads to be where that photo is.
You probably want a few more tags as well, like Royal Mile, Edinburgh New Town, etc.
You're at just over 400 words which is probably fine, but if I were you, I'd add to the hub over time. As you add text, you often unwittingly add other keywords that may help your hub to get noticed.
Thnaks, I have moved the photo, and reposted with the link. I appreciate your help.
There is a related thread:
looks like this original post was just moved to a new section - this new user simply followed the instruction above to post a link and to use the extreme makeover section (which probably would not have happened if it was already posted there)
