hi i have applied for an adsense account but google told me they need a proof that the site www.hubpages.com/profile/parfect24 belongs to me. as a proof they told me to access my website source code and confirm that the site belongs to me and after that resubmit the application.please anyone who can help me here?. thanks
What I do is I register a blogger account, and establish a blog. And register on adsense with THAT. Once I got it registered, I take the same ID and apply it over here on Hubpages.
This also gives you a chance to let people know a bit more about yourself (that you do not put on Hubpages itself) as well as an outlet for stuff that's too short or esoteric to go on Hubpages.
That applies only to webmasters, not hubbers. You cannot access the source code on HubPages. There are other threads on the same problem - the cause of this confusing message is so far unknown, and I don't believe anyone on HubPages knows the solution either.
