What to do if the spell checker does not recognize technical words? Does this affect the Hub score?
I don't think so. And don't worry about hubscore. Anything over 40 for hub and 75 for author is OK.
To answer your two questions:
1) Check those words carefully yourself.
Side note: I've seen the check mark words spelled correctly as being misspelled. It's always good to make sure you trust your editing skills, not just the computer.
