I know everyone is different, and pay times are different, but how much time 'normally' elapses before AdSense pays? I don't have enough traffic to my hub to expect much, but a 'little' would be nice. Google says my account is set up.
Also, has anyone had success in setting up a Google AdWords and linking it to?
You have to make at least $100.00 before you get sent anything, so if you have an account for four months, but have only made $50, you will not get paid.
Much of your earnings will be based on the amount of traffic you are drawing in and the types of things you write on. Different adds pay different amounts.
AdWords is not something you link to. It can help you decide what to write on and which direction to take a subject.
Here is a hub that might help you out:

Hi Hubbers, I checked my account yesterday on August 20, 2016 and to my surprise the Google Adsense has approved my application. It is hardly even two months, when I signed up.
