    I am new to the Hub and was wondering if I should make a few changes to my profile. Any advice would be appriciated.

      Great question. That is exactly what I'm wondering. I probably will do that. I will check here later and see what advice you get.

    Could be longer. You can look at other hubbers profiles for examples..

    I agree it could be longer. Also, how about some information about what you intend to do here on HubPages, what you are interested in writing about or what brought you here. You can freely link to any external websites or blogs from the profile page.

        Certainly. Here are my thoughts:

        - Informative, well-written, and sincere. Very credible;
        - Somewhat long, philosophical and literary. HubPages is not exactly a gathering place for intellectuals - I'd predict that only a small fraction of visitors to your profile will ever read through it, let alone understand it;
        - Reads a bit like a manifesto. Beautiful for those who care;
        - Minor error: "reaslized"

        Questions:
        - Are you content to say so much to so few?
        - If not, would you consider shortening your profile, then linking that to a hub, blog post, or downloadable document with your "manifesto"?

        With respect,
        W.E.

    I certainly agree with my fellow hubbers here.  Add more quality information about yourself and be sure to include any previous writing experience and what you hope to gain by writing for HP.  If you do have a blog or another site, as WE mentioned, linking to it on your page could potentially bring you great traffic.
