I just read a hub by Marisa Wright on using Flickr photographs (thanks for the informative hub Marisa), and she was very thorough in explaining everything involved with using photographs from Flickr. (I hope it's ok to thank a hubber publicly in the forum). She mentions giving the photographer a link, possibly in a text capsule at the end of a hub. Once again I'm showing my ignorance. Specifically and literally, can someone tell me how to create the link to the photographer in the text capsule? I ask the question here because everyone is so quick to respond. And when you're stuck, it's fantastic to have that kind of support.
I am assuming you have the web page (URL) for the photographer's site.
Either place the URL in the image capsule (easiest), or create a textual link as follows:
- Type the text such as you want it to appear, and highlight that;
- Click on the chain link icon;
- Paste in the URL for the site you want to link to in the box that pops up;
- Click save.
All of which assumes you are editing the capsule (editing mode).
