Cooking and wine.

    Anybody use wine cooking?If so what's your favorite.I use Cabernet...sometimes I even put it in my Food!

      Cabernet is wonderful with filet mignon, and makes a terrific béarnaise sauce.  Whenever cooking with wine, you want to use a wine that is fresh, and avoid labeled “cooking wines” like the plague.   Sweet wines will sweeten whatever dish you are cooking.    You can use wines in soup stock, stews, etc.   I use white wines with my favorite bouillabaisse.
