Page One: Title - Category - Layout - Keywords - Are all ok

Page Two: Press Continue And This Comes Up: "We're sorry, there seems to be something very wrong with our servers.  Please try again.  If it still does not work, please contact technical support"

Trying again doesn't work... This was the same yesterday.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    Cheers PD.

Why would anyone bother starting a new hub when we have been kicked by Google??
Only kidding...I published two new hubs today without issue...maybe its a new problem.

At least you have your name in lights. Who is this guy who made this hub anyway?

Pearldiverposted 13 years agoin reply to this

smile He is an example of the "New Generation" of Hub 'Writers' - If you Google me - Pearldiver on Hubpages .. You will notice that HE HAS Hijacked MY Identity smile From Within HP .... This is why I can't publish... and this is A Major Problem for HP if they want to retain First Generation Writers!

        - Just Intentional Defamatory Crap... roll

I just flagged it. As I'm sure we all did. In fact, I am flagging anything that moves seeing I have just been stamped on by Google.
    Pearldiver, ignore the lamer.

All his recent hubs are total crap. Could he be from a competitor who wanted to put HP down? How did we miss him in the Hubhop? How has he hi-jacked your ID?

Effectively... as Google have married his Direct Pearliver Tag and Keyword to his hub in their cache... which also diverts traffic from those who search for me under 'Pearldiver on Hubpages' - that is what I have most of my B/Ls set to! smile

    - So the problem is one that can affect more than just me if it as been That easy to implement.

This is merely a SOCK Puppet account of an already established Hubber.  Isn't that an interesting use of secondary accounts?

Perhaps HP need to be more Transparent in such situations and make public the Primary entity as well Huh? hmm
-instead of supporting the joke.. "who cares if I lose my 2nd account" style of attitude appears quite prevailant here!

Won;t last long...that hub and quite a few of his previous hubs will be sent to the recycle bin quite soon. Better still if he is sent there too.

Have you contacted HubPages team about this fellow? Seems to me they would be happy to help out. None of his hubs that I have seen even meet the minimum word count. I have seen forum posts longer than most of them.

    Good luck Pearly!

Wow. How did you figure out this guy was stealing your traffic (and identity)? I've been hub-hopping a lot and didn't come across this one (though there were plenty of others that were blatant spam or just short, spammy hubs).

I flagged it along with everyone else.

What in the world is a wuckfit? Off to google...

A year ago I thought I found a hub of mine on the search engines just browsing an all together different keyword set. Then I found that a user on Hubpages had not only taken my articles and copied it almost word for word, he was ranking for the siad hub. I flagged it but who knows what happened. This same individual found a way to hijack my affilaite link for a product I promoted and then caused me problems there also.

There are so many great individual writers on Hubpages that is sucks the few who want to spam the site and steal others work make us all suffer.

Pearldiverposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Thank you Very Much for posting this, because I am sure that it is far more prevalent here than many know!  That is interesting as I also had problems last year with one of the affiliates as well... and it had been hijacked via here, I was advised. hmm

This 'Problem' is becoming a bit of a pain, as I am now going to have to publish on other sites now until it is sorted!!

Right Now.. I'm trying to publish a Tribute to those lost in the Canterbury Earthquake.  - This is a highly relevant piece that relates to the huge loss of life and devastation in NZ.

So it is a particular nasty little problem that I find it most interesting, given that it started at the exact time that the defamatory hub was published!

    Not Fn Good Enough!! sad

Cheers Someway.. the reason... spiteful person with a small pecker maybe... but it took offense to a comment I made while hopping, about it being too short and highly flagable.. even though I didn't flag it then... maybe someone else did? hmm
Have certainly flagged him since then.. for this stunt! sad
Good Stuff - HP ask for help hopping their content.. you do.. and then you get a Wuckfit Stalker!
Something is wrong with the picture! sad

Cheers Pandaman.. Factually This is an Established Hubber and is using at least one alias... One quite familiar with the systems here!  As far as Google is concerned.. read Sunforged articles mate... @HubsAcademy

Hi PD  -  Not so surprised to hear what has happened to you, or that nothing has been immediately done about it.  I have been having intermittent problems connecting with Hubpages at all from here, in the middle of the US night - and I have this con theory that they are frantically working at night on their escape route from the Google change.

Hope you identity crisis gets sorted soon.
