I very much dislike dealing with 'Security Questions' as a form of user authentication as I'm always forgetting the right answer.
I would like to know if I never fill in the 3 security questions would this disable it from working? If not is there a way to opt out of this?
Based upon Paul Deeds response to another user who forgot the correct answers I'm not real confident there is a mechanism in place to deal with this situation. Is there a way staff can fix this for the user? If staff must manually dig into the database each time you have now created a huge work load for your selfs in exchange for a slight increase in security and much more hassle for the users. I suggest you reconsider this system.
I would also suggest that hubpages at least give us an option of not using this. I know I'm eventually going to forget the answers and if I lose the piece of paper where I wrote them down on it becomes a hassle for all involved.
