Is it allowed to download music videos from you tube and display in your hub for other people to listen to ?? With all these copyright laws one can't be to careful. Has anybody got the correct details?
I am not sure about what did you mean by the download. You may just copy and paste the youtube link on your hub so that other can listen as you would like to. But as far as my knowledge is concerned there are songs in youtube that could only be watched and listen to only on the youtube but not on the other shared links. So be wise and read the TOS of every song before you get the embedded link/URL
It is pretty simple. The only way to display YouTube content on HubPages is to use the embed feature, which is done through the video capsules. Only content where the YouTube account holder has authorized embed will be available.
Linking to audio/video content hosted outside of HubPages is possible, but of course creation, hosting and downloading of such content is subject to copyright laws. It is unlawful to reproduce YouTube contents without authorization, except through embedding where authorization is already implied.
