I was looking forward to seeing a new accolade on my profile as I reached one thousand views but it is not there. I waited a day hoping the HP needed some time to process it but nothing happened. Is it a glitch or what?
It’s probably hiding under one of the other accolades. Give it time and it will come out (probably at night).
It will show up sooner or later. It always does.

The accolades that do the disappearing act have to do with your activity levels, so initially they do disappear but when you have been pretty active over a period of time they are stable and do not disappear, I promise .
Keep doing whatever you have been doing, commenting, interacting on the forums and the Q&A section etc. and it will be back for sure!
How many days was it before you received the accolade? All of mine disappeared two or three days ago when I should have received another but none of them have appeared again!
My new accolade showed up eventually two or three days after I collected 1,000 views. No other accolades were missing.
My latest accolade is missing too, and I was looking forward to it as it was the 1,000,000 viewings point. I hit this two days ago, and now am over 1,004,800, but still my current accolade only shows as 'read over 100,000 times'. I have emailed the Hubteam yesterday, but no reply yet
Hooray, my missing accolade arrived, and the Hub Team notified me in response to my email too. Very happy with my 1,000,000 + views, it took so long, but feels great to reach the milestone and have it on my accolades.

Congratulations to all those other accolade winners. After many days the long awaited accolade showed up but all of my other hard won accolades are now missing! This is something I haven't had happen before. Is there some sort of software bug that's being worked out? Or is this problem an old one that I just hadn't noticed?
I did have five accolades --- three milestones, and two of the "contribution" kind (great commenter and great citizen).
The two contribution ones have disappeared, but I still have the three milestones.
Did I do something wrong, or did I just not contribute enough recently?
A couple of days ago, I was Hub hopping, and I really did see a lot of spam hubs. I did flag those, but now I'm afraid I lost my accolades because of that.
I felt embarrassed about losing my accolades. So, I changed their status to "only me".
I always felt perhaps it was immodest to have those showing for everyone, anyway. What do others think about this?
I lost all of my accolades after reaching one thousand views; after many days I got the one thousand views accolade - my other accolades still didn't show up. After ten hubs today, I received the ten hub accolade - still no missing accolades.
I am having my confidence shaken, can anyone tell me what is going on?
And Huntgoddess, I think accolades are given to be shown. If I was earning anything from my writing, the accolades wouldn't mean as much. Accolades on HubPages work much the same way as they do everywhere - it's not all about the money and I thought HubPages had been clever in recognizing what motivates many writers through their use of accolades and numerous other features including the ability to get together and complain.
Where are our missing accolades??
May be your level of participation has gone down, it is like that initially when as your level of participation fluctuates. Don't worry it will eventually come back permanently as you start participate and do all that you did before. Nothing to worry, go ahead full stem and participate

It has been over ten days since I lost all my accolades prior to being awarded the one for one thousand hubs. Since then, I have earned one for ten hubs. All my others are still missing. I participate every day much as I did to earn many of the accolades. Most seem to report the problem with missing accolades gets resolved in a couple of days or so - is there anyone who has had missing accolades for many, many days? Can anyone tell me how to try and resolve the problem I'm having?
I had one completely disappear, that was there for a long time.
