Hello guyz. Thanks in advance for any help.

Write a couple of more hubs - the grouping will happen by itself once you cross 15 hubs. (At least that is what used to happen earlier - this info is not updated).

Hey Sidd, as far as I know, it's not automatic. I had to do them manually.

          Hey Cagsil,

Look at the OP's profile page, and then look at your profile page -  your hubs are neatly classified into different categories. This will happen even if you don't create any groups yourself - you anyway have to categorize your hubs even while writing them.

This is the difference - categories are default, grouping is done by the hubber.

Hey Sidd, the categorization on the profile isn't what he is asking though. I appreciate your response- how to assign hubs to a group in the profile page is what he asked?

If categorization of hubs is how the profile is done, then grouping has no effect.

However, to put them in groups, it isn't automatic, but done manually, as I said.

I'm not trying to confuse the two, but to explain them, so he knows the difference. wink

Hub Groups allow you to put hubs in specific groups that you can access on your accounts page and the groups page and the bottom of any grouped hub itself.

The groupings on the hub itself are completely unrelated and happen automatically - they can't be changed by users.

Usually hubs are grouped together based on relation to one another.

So does it mean it is automatic? Thanks. I'm going to publish my 15th hub tomorrow.

    OK.

I think the OP can simply assign groups and all, and see whether that makes a difference.

    Wait for two days.

Then write two more hubs, and see whether that makes a difference.

I think the problem/misunderstanding is more a question of terminology than anything else.

Since the OP referred specifically to it being on the profile page, it sounds like he actually did mean categories as Sidd indicates.  Cagsil is correct that there is a difference in meaning between groups and categories, but I think sergs actually meant the latter. (And FYI, Sergs, I wrote a Hub on how to group Hubs - but it talks about grouping in the way Cagsil was referencing, not about categories.)
