Twice in the last few days I received notifications of broken links but the links are still live. Is it a site glitch?
This has been there for quite sometime now .. the broken link sign shows up, but says good link when you test it.. looks like a bug to me .
Most likely there were simply temporary problems with the link, and it was, in fact, broken at the point in time that it was tested. We could avoid some of those by waiting until a link was broken for a several tests in a row before notifying you, but we weighed that against the added delay when the link really is broken and decided it was best to notify right away.
I don't think it's a glitch. It's just that at the moment that HP happens to be scanning that particular link, the site being linked to doesn't respond. Most sites tend to have a few seconds or minutes each day where the site is offline for one reason or the other.
