While editing one of my hubs I deleted the "comment capsule box" of over 70 comments, how possible can it be recovered or is it gone forever?

Just curious, why would a hubber not provide a place for comments? Do they not what to hear from the peanut gallery?I read a hub, thought it was good, wanted to comment, not there. Found it odd.

That's my question. I refresh my Hub "In the Daze" every quarter or so. The old comments from the previous hub are still there. How do I delete them? Sorry to be so dense. Could you help me with this?THNXMarsha
