Can't link my Adsense account?

    Hi everyone,

    I'm new to Hubpages. After I wrote my first hub, I applied for a Google Adsense account and was approved within 24 hours. In my Adsense account, hubpages has access (I checked). I went to the affiliate page and tried to link the account, so that I can start to receive revenue, but Adsense is still showing as "Not Set" in my account settings and I have yet to receive any kind of confirmation email from Google regarding the linking of accounts.

    When I'm on the affiliate page, I click on "Yes" for already having a Google Adsense Account, then I input the last 5 digits of the phone number and the postal code on my Google Adsense account. I've confirmed that these numbers are the ones I used in setting up my Adsense account.

    Any idea what the problem is?

    Does it usually take a while before the accounts are linked?

      Please let me know what those browser issues were and how you fixed them.
      I am unable to update this browser on this computer.

    Please help. I encounter the ff error when linking my adsense to hubpages:


    We encounter this error when contacting Google:

    Log in with this username/password failed.


    Please correct the problem if you can try again, or contact HUbpages support at team@hubpages.com

    I am sure that I put the correct email address, zip code, and last 5 digit of my phone's number.

      I am having the same issues.  I have copied (not screen printed) both pages that I see during this issue process.  I emailed them to hubpages and asked if it would be possible for them to call me.
      I also contacted adsense support asking them to do the same.
      I don't know what else to do!
