Publish versus Submitted for Publication

    Hi there,

I'm new to HubPages and I just finished four articles.  After each article I hit the green publish button, so my assumption is now the articles are for public view.  However when I look at my account, in the key below my article stats is the phrase Submitted for Publication.

What is the difference between hitting the publish button and submitted for publication status?  All I want is to make my articles public.

    Thanks

It looks like all of your hubs have been published.

Thank you for checking.  It's going to take me awhile to get familiar with all of the nooks, crannies and lingo of this site.

Welcome to HP! And you should always feel free to come in the forums and ask questions. There are some terrific hubbers here.
