Email about Content Warnings and New Standards

I have still not received an email from HubPages regarding New Standards and Content Warnings for April 2011.

Actually, I received an email from HP on March 14, 2011 which said "Thank you for sharing your work on HubPages. We are trying to improve your writing and earning experience on the site, and would ask you to make a few changes. With the new rules in place, we would like you to correct the following problems with your Hubs at your earliest convenience.

The following published Hubs have an Amazon, eBay, News, RSS, or Link capsule as the first full width capsule. This is no longer permitted under HubPages rules. Please correct the Hubs if possible. Hubs that are not corrected by March 25th may be unpublished.

The following published Hubs have too many Amazon or eBay products displayed on them in relation to the amount of original text that they contain. We recommend that you write at least 50 words of text for each product that is featured on your Hubs. Please correct the problem if possible. Hubs that are not corrected by March 25th may be unpublished."

So I corrected them all in a day or two and was able to save my hubs from being unpublished.

Now my request to HP is that if we can receive a single email like above regarding The New Standards as described by Simone in Official Hubpages Announcements, then it would be really good for us. The new date before problematic hubs will get unpublished is May 14, 2011.

It will save time and effort of going through so many hubs and we will concentrate more time on searching less competitive niches and writing well researched and totally unique hubs.

I know it's not possible to send emails to so many users but any information on this will really help us.

We all want HubPages to be in the position it was post panda update. Looking for a positive response.

If you do have any Hubs that are affected by the new changes, you should receive an email within a week. smile

Thank you so much for an immediate response. I am eagerly waiting for the email and until that time I will keep reviewing my hubs to modify them in accordance with the new guidelines from HP.
