Non-Gmail Email Now Working????

    Just a few minutes ago I received 18 email messages from HP (notifications of new Hubs written by the people I'm a fan of).

    I am delighted!  This is the first time in 5 months that I'm receiving these notifications through my comcast.net account. 

    If this was intentional, Hub Team, then I congratulate you on taking the right steps to connect Hubbers the way they should be connected, regardless of email platform.

    If this wasn't intentional, then figure out what happened so it continues to happen!  smile

    Paul Deeds did recently fix an issue that we hoped might improve the delivery of our emails, so I'm glad it worked!

    Maddie and Paul, this is good news.

    Paul, whatever you fixed, I have now received about 100 emails, going back several days, as if they were all boluxed up in a queue.  But no complaints from me.  I'm looking forward to receiving these notifications on a timely basis in the future.

    300 messages and counting.  The word "constipation" comes to mind.  Whatever cache was hanging on your servers, I'm sure the servers feel better, too.

    Charlotte, although I never received the timely Hubber notifications, I always received the newsletter. 

    Is this a different problem?

    One other thought...

    I could always find new Hubs as well as comments on my Hubs without email notification from HP.  But what I couldn't find were messages from Hubbers who chose the "contact" option.

    Today, I received two emails from Hubbers who chose that option.  I don't know how many Hubbers in the past emailed me through that option, but I am glad that I can respond to the two today.  They know I'm not ignoring them.

    I've always wondered why all my hubpages mail ends up in my bulk folder at yahoo. I have a gmail account too, but I'm using my yahoo account for hubbing. Is this related?

      May be because lot of emails are coming from this source. You have to add that email to your contact list and make changes in the spam filter in Yahoo
