I've been following the Series Stats so as to pass on the info to others.

When I did the 100 Funniest Movies there were not a lot of statistical anomylies, is that right?

The First Hub and the last hub did about double of all the ones in the middle which makes sense.  Some people just wanted to know what No 1 was OR they didn't want to look until the list was complete, whatever.

NOW I have been doing the 100 Incredible Films list.

Now Volumes 1 thru 5 were normal as before Most of them had between 150 and 350 views

    but then..

    100 Incredible Films (Volume 6 ~ #s 50-41)  which has a total of 862 views!  BLEW UP!!!

So I'm thinking that wow, this list is finally taking off and things are going great.

Excitedly I released the next volume.
    http://hubpages.com/hub/100-Incredible- … 7--s-40-31

IN JUST 4 DAYS....   This hub had stopped to a total of ZERO page views.  ZERO

A total of 85 views in 3 days and then caput.

I HAVE to believe that this is because HubPages featured Volume 6 somewhere.
How else can this be explained?

    Volume 6 ~ 862 views
    Volume 7 ~ 85 views

    WHAT THE FUNK?????

It can't actually be that one hub is better than the other, can it?

That might be true.  But is it enough to sway the stats THIS MUCH?

AGAIN I got no views on my new hub. What happened to this series????

    http://hubpages.com/hub/100-Incredible- … 8--s-30-21

Have I lost it?  Or has HubPages stopped promoting my work?

    Baffling.

I used to put these out and my whole traffic would shoot up!

I really think is a hubpages thing.   I think they used to rotate the hot hubs better.

I'm not gonna put together such thorough things anymore.
It's not wrth my time to make a hub and have like 35 people see it.

I'll just start doing half-assed picture galleries since apparently that is where my audience has been redirected.

Hi Funk!  I have long given up the rhyme and reason as to what actually pulls traffic.  My stats are all over the place!  Some of my Hubs don't get a second glance, and others pop off the charts.  Some that really do well follow ones that were bombs, and vice versa.  Confusing when you are trying to figure out what to write, and what people may want to read.

But, what the hell.  I love to write, and try not to let it bother me.  I am building a portfolio, compiling my second book, and just biding time till we get our healing ranch off the ground.

    It's all good!
