AdSense Incongruity

    This is definitely a head-scratcher!

On my (Hub Mob) topic about vintage plumbing fixtures, Google has placed ads relating to voip and cell phones; on my (Hub Mob) topic about animal vs. human rights, they have placed plumbing ads!!
What gives????  My tags and keywords are very clear. There should be no confusion between the two.
I thought the ads were supposed to be relvant to the hub's topic!!

Neither of these are new hubs by any stretch--they are both well over 2 months old!

    WTH????

Do you have tracking turned off?  If not the ads are aimed at the viewer, not based on the page.

Don't worry, by default you see ads based on your own previous searches or topics.

Other people don't see those ads, and so your hub may well display topics either related to your hub, or related to your visitor's preference.

It's another of those Google things...

Adsense is more complex that simple contextual advertising, they are able to track your browsing history to present the most relevant advertising.
