I know how the whole process works where if a reader clicks an ad on my hub, I would earn. However, what I don't know is if we earn if we get page views. I am currently only signed up to the Google Adsense for earnings. I'm wondering if my hubs get a lot of pages views, but no clicks will I still earn?
You don't earn much from impressions, maybe a few cents every 1000..big money comes from clicks
You have to assign URL channels in Google Adsense, so you can track your earnings. You can earn a little bit of money from impression based ads from Google Adsense, but not much will actually be earned, because Google Adsense doesn't have too many advertisers who pay based on impression.
So what are URL channels and how do they work?
URL channels track your views and clicks. You can locate them under Setup on your Google Adsense earnings page. You should be able to first setup a Custom Channel with is associated with your HP account, then setup URL Channels, under that Custom Channel.
Go through your adsense account.
