When I post in other blogs and forums, I like to leave my hubpages URL address (if there is an option to do so).
Giving someone a hubpages subdomain URL is a bit more confusing than just a regular domain, so I also have a regular .com domain that redirects to my hubpages profile page.
So I've got two options:
www.myusername.com (redirects to my profile page)
myusername.hubpages.com (displays my profile page)
The question is, from an SEO and PageRank standpoint, which is better for me to be using when I post online, the subdomain or my regular domain?
Thanks
Jacob
Generally a direct link weighs more than a 301 redirect.
Thanks for the great info. I am new to this and any advice I can get will be helpful

Ok, so I haven't gotten that aweful 999 error in MONTHS! and now, it seems there are so many perfect questions to post my links too, and I'm getting the 999 error! Anyone else having this problem? I was getting ok traffic from them, enough for my to be frustrated by this. Plus, like I said, today...

I did a comparison to the traffic I was getting a year ago between November and now and realized I have lost around 2 million views. At the time of my traffic crash, starting November 1st, I had reached out in the forums to see what was going on with others. HP leaders said to wait until content...

I'm thinking, when my lenses all pop over, to unpublish them and work them at my leisure. I just need to know if they will be deleted after a period of time in non-pub status.

On request, one of my articles was moved back to Dengarden after spending a year on Owlcation. I'm hoping it can rank again for title keywords which it couldn't do because of the Google Site Diversity thing. I know existing Owlcation links on Pinterest or whatever will redirect to Owlcation, but...
