I've not had problems highlighting text and adding links before.
But in the last 24 hours, unless my link is a plain http://and whatever comes after, I keep getting the message "site does not exist or is down.
I thought that may be true so I've tried several different sites that I would link too and since the message continually tells me the site doesn't exist or is down, I'm wondering what's happening.
Is it the hubpages site that has the problem?
It's no use publishing my hubs without the active links.
Thanks if you can help.
Are you sure that you are placing the link in the URL field?
Home 'n Biz Blend, I used to get that problem that I no longer use that text editor to add links any more - it shows the links are there but in the real sense they are not working.
What you do is to have your text on MS word with links ready, and then copy and paste onto the text editor. This way your links will work and as you will come to realize, it will save you lots of problems.
Hi Home 'n Biz Blend,
Is the problem still occurring?

I am working on one of my new websites - and I want to link back to my hubs here. How many times is this OK to do on a website page before it is overkill?
