When you change text in an existing document to avoid showing up on a webpage on Google search engine for the original text, how long does it take before you are no longer showing up on the offending page? I'm trying to avoid being associated completely with very negative press due to un unfortunate situation beyond my control. When -if ever-does the page of my original text stop showing up?
A few days or so, could be a week or even two. Basically, it will change the next time google comes around to check on it.
excellent! I will not go into it, but there are people in my life whom I have cut out of my life as they are bad people. Sadly, I am related to them and my name is showin gup on pages about them because of my name. I've changed my bio to stop this.

Anyone else having this problem? I have showed the stats supposedly change, according to the time since last update at the bottom, but the numbers are not reflecting any views whatsoever.
