Through the narrows, into the darkness, I crawl. A single light shines the way through a steel artery of coiled cables, troughs, discarded road cases and red bull. The smell of charged electricity guides me to another lair, illuminated by colors of red and green, and the sharp snapping of an electrical charge looking for its home. What did they teach you that first day "assessment, adjustment, solution." My headlamp scans the area and shines upon a sparking connection, jarred loose from its mate. I crawl over to the exposed tails, reconnect, and the burning smell starts to subside. All is Gravy! The moral of the story- Always use electrical tape at the connection points (with a courtesy tab).
